How to Play Fantasy Football : The Importance of Position in Fantasy Football

Hello, my name is Frank Torres, and I am here
on behalf of Expert Village. This segment is about the importance of positions in Fantasy
Football. Now I know, in real football, the quarterback is the king of the field. In Fantasy
Football, he is still quite important. The one you want to pay attention to the most
is the running back. A lot of offenses are designed to get close to the end zone and
then clench the ball into the end zone with the running back. This gives the running back
the opportunity to score the most points. That along with constantly moving the ball
down the field, he also tends to accumulate a lot of yardage. He also gets to catch the
occasional pass, which gives him the chance to break one away and score six. Quarterbacks
are still important; they accumulate points by the yardage of passes that they throw,
by touchdowns they throw. They also get points should they decide to sneak one into the end
zone. Wide receivers accumulates points by how many catches they get in the game, how
much yardage they accumulate in the game and also for the times that they get into the
end zone as well. Now, defenses are tricky. Defenses aren’t done by individual players,
defense is done by a unit and get rewarded points by interceptions or sacks or how low
they can keep the opposing team down. Then last, you have kickers. Kickers are kickers,
but if they have a good week, they could make the difference between winning or loosing
your game by those one or two points. It’s important to know the importance of positions
in your league, and the way each position is rewarded by their accomplishments on the
field.
