NFL FANTASY – Jets Enunwa steps up in Deckers absence
LIZ LOZA: The Jets are after a horrific week three. A Jetspocalypse, if you will. And they’re doing it in a tough matchup against the Seahawks. Now right now, they’re in the third quarter, and down by just a score. But Eric Decker is out. So let’s take a look at this offense and see who is benefiting from Decker’s absence. Brandon Marshall, he scored. Still the team’s number one receiver. Bilal Powell seeing many more targets, as expected with Decker sitting. But I still think the big story is Quincy Enunwa. Big guy. Wide receiver-tight end hybrid. He did score in week one. He had over 90 yards in week two. Week three, like I said, we’re going to talk about that matchup. That didn’t really count. In week four, he’s been targeted four times so far. But he’s caught three of those balls. That is the thing I like the most about Enunwa, his efficiency. What I also like about him, the fact that he’s owned in just 32% of Yahoo leagues. Still under-owned. News that Eric Decker may potentially be put on the IR with that shoulder injury, which could mean more of a role for Enunwa in this offense. You have to go grab him, and you have to continue to check back here at “Yahoo Sports” for more rapid reaction throughout the week.
